Club Membership

After you have completed the course successfully or passed an assessment you may then join the club and attend the appropriate session times. On completion of the coaching course or assessment an invoice for club fees will be sent with a due date of one month after the course completion. If club fees have not been paid by due date you will no longer have access to club activities.

Our club membership fee includes affiliation to the regional association Eastern Central Bay of Plenty Archery Association, the national body Archery NZ and the club itself. This fee also includes payment for various postal competitions held during the year.

The cost of club membership is:

  • $115       Active youth membership for persons under Archery New Zealand age groupings and intend to shoot. If an under 21 turns 21 years old after club subscriptions fall due, they shall be entitled to all senior membership for the remainder of the financial year
  • $135      Active senior membership for persons under Archery New Zealand age groupings and intend to shoot
  • $45        Non-active membership for those who do not intend to shoot
  • $0           Life membership for persons who have given outstanding and memorious service to the club

Family membership for two or more active senior members of the same family. Youth members included if two or more senior members in a family. Family membership at a discounted rate according to how many members are in individual families

A tiered fee system is in place for those new members joining after March.

Our financial year is between 1st October – 30th September.

There are to further costs for shooting after club membership has been paid unless you enter tournaments.

Members are expected to treat all participants as well as club facilities with respect at all times.

Youth Archery

  • Youth Archery

    Youth archery is available for all members who attend school. These sessions take place each Monday evening of the school term from 6.30pm at the indoor range with a variety of shoots each month including regional and national shoots as well as coaching sessions.

Senior Archery

  • Senior Archery

    Senior archery is for all archers over the age of 21. These sessions focus on various competitions taking place at the time including club, regional and national competitions. The sessions are relaxed but competitive.
